Californication and Justified have both recently started up again. Both are great shows for the most part.

Californicaion should be pretty good with Hank in rehab.

Agreed!! Not to mention that Boyd Crowder is one of the best TV villains in years. For me, he's on par with T-Bag from Prison Break. The villain you love to hate.

There is some pretty good TV on at the moment. Californication is decent enough, for now. Justified is as cool as ever...but...The Following takes the cake as one of the scariest, ballsiest and most intense shows since The Walking Dead hit the air. This is especially true given that The Following isn't even a cable TV show.

I know right? I kind of felt like they were doing way too much "wink wink, here's your worst nightmare" shit. I think that the actors have such a good grasp of their characters and there's still hilarious lines but...it's just not all there. I think the main way I could describe it is that under Dan Harmon every single line was important, hilarious or necessary. And last night had more than an allowable amount of filler/throwaway/plot advancement lines. Community shouldn't have to play that way.

At least it got good-ish ratings? Maybe if we wish hard enough Harmon will come back for the movie.

It was mildly amusing, and clear that everybody involved still loves it, but it's definitely not the same.

Also I know Ken Jeong is on contract with NBC but can we quit it with the Chang bullshit already? He's a fucking cartoon at this point.
