Well, I'm the sort of guy who buys clearasil from Wal*mart and otherwise just wears sunblock, a lot. The only "splurge" I do on this sort of stuff is buying half decent shaving cream at $5ish for a tube at Shoppers. And as someone who shaves their head, yes it makes a difference. A big difference.

If we hang out I'm giving you this shaving lotion I bought. It will change your life. I don't use it because it's not very good in the shower, but I assume it would work wonders in a sink.

Also, I have a beauty product addiction. I didn't ever wear a lot of makeup, but I think there was a point in my life where I owned every hair product that had 'curly' in the name. I've since switched from quantity to quality.

I use old-skool shaving cream which you have to mix with water to get a lather for shaving. Blows Gilette's stuff away in a heartbeat. I'd be curious to see how your stuff stacks up. If it's a soap-like lotion I expect I'll be disappointed.

Right now I use all products from Lush. The 'gel' I use is called King of the Mods. It smells delicious and is medium hold. I have another one that is extra hold but I can't remember the name of it!

As I am getting older my hair is getting curlier. It has a really nice wave to it when I first wash it, but it tends to fall out. I know there are conditioners and product you can use to help, I just don't know what.
