These are allowed:

These are pretty good if you're going to be on the hill all day. They counteract the weird lean you're forced to do, so no back pain. They're also not too much of a bitch to carry around if you're going to be going between stages a bunch. No fun to dance with though!!

I forget what it was, but last year I tried entering the venue with something that was specifically listed as "allowed" on the website, and the security guard straight up told me it wasn't allowed. When I told him the site said otherwise he said it didn't matter and that I could either throw it/them (whatever the fuck it was) away or take it back to my campsite.
Long story short, rules don't mean shit when you get to the gate.

Then you'll find someone walking around the campsite with it the next day like my blanket! It's almost a guarantee.

That's when you ask to speak with their supervisor to make sure they know what they're talking about. It seems to be a pretty common occurrence that the goons checking bags aren't clear on the official rules. Sure the rules may be subject to change at any time, but it's more likely some idiot just didn't get the right info. At least a couple times over the last few years I've gone straight to the little portable office with security supervisors and had them radio to one of the underlings telling them that they were wrong.

We get it, you're promoting a blog. Stop spamming threads with that link or I will delete them all, and suspend your account.

Worst blog ever, the roxy advert takes up all the room that the "content" should...Not to mention it is just bad advice...

Yeah, it's terrible advice.
Also, nobody at Sasquatch has ever gotten beaten up for 8 hours and locked in a cage all day for trying to sneak in drugs. They throw your drugs away and then you get to go in, or at the very worst you run away and get in a new line.

I chortled at the part "If you are going to sneak into the show, make sure that you make it, or else they will arrest you for trespassing"...
How about we don't advocate people sneaking in, at all...

Last year some random drug addled guy walked up to my girlfriend and I and separately told us the same story about how he managed to sneak in while sprinting away from security guys and stuff. He wouldn't go away and he was a total tweaker.
I have a feeling the guy who wrote this blog might be that guy.

I think I met the same guy...Did he go on to tell you how he had a raft on the columbia and camo gear so he could hoof it from the river to the venue and back again in the dead of night at the end of the day?

I know of someone who was arrested for possession last year and spent the entire weekend in jail, so spreading an assumption that you'll only get your substances confinscated isn't really a good idea. Be safe and smart folks.

That doesn't ring a bell, but that sounds stupid. He honestly walked all the way down to the river and back every single day? That's a loooooooong walk. And steep.
