I know! Though I can't really go to an airport bar, considering I'll only be 18 then haha, but, I wish we could fly, it'd be alot cheaper, but thankfully we are all splitting the bills so it shouldn't be to bad.

I actually enjoy flying for some reason. One of my favorite things ever is the window seat of a plane. However, otherwise, yeah, I guess it sucks.

And yeah, splitting everything helps out oh so much. (It sucks when you're going with one other person though and that person bails 2 weeks before.)

Doesn't really matter....because once you get to Sasquatch and experience it for yourself, everything will realign and all will be right with the world again! Trust us! You really cant ask for a better weekend than that!

That's pretty cool your putting this trip together before even seeing a lineup. You'll have a great time The Gorge is pretty much the promise land and Sasquatch is homecoming every year

hahaha very true....

I got stuck in the front of the mosh pit frying my nuts off to the mars volta, and I was seriously scared for my safety. I'm glad I stayed alive long enough to walk out after the lips...

I was standing on the rail from 12:30 for dyme def, all the way to probably 12:30 a.m. for the lips. 12 hours, no sunscreen, a few bottles of water, and several joints.

Dude I live in AZ too, and drove out to the Gorge for Sasquatch. It took me about 28 hours non-stop driving, and a solid $650 after tickets when all said and done... I did have to replace a tire and a battery mid-trip, whoops... It's worth every fucking penny, and then some. It's not just that Sasquatch is cheaper... it's not just that IMO they have consistently had better lineups... It's not just the scenery of the Gorge, but it's the whole fucking ordeal... And believe me it's an ordeal, it always will be, but again it's worth every second, every headache, every heartbreak and oh so much.

Just plan ahead and bring your own "supplies," stop in Flag to pick up your goods and head on north. Going through Utah, and Idaho is a blast, for no fucking reason, it's just fun. Try to make time to come back down the coast. If it can be done, then done right it's a solid two week trip, but it's completely indelible.
