So I started thinking shortly after we departed from the Gorge on Tuesday that it seems as though they never release any official video recordings of any of the weekend's performances. I, for one, would absolutely kill to watch a professional video of the bands I missed, and especially the ones I saw, just to relive the moment. Youtube videos often don't do the performances any justice and frequently leave out memorable parts such as dance parties on the hill or conga lines like we saw this year. Live nation or whomever sold DVDs or blu rays of the shows would make hilarious amounts of money if they ever did so. I'm curious to see if the powers that be could be convinced to do this for next year's festival if they realized the profit potential.
