I honestly don't remember right now who our CDMA roaming partner in the US is right now, but like I said, service was spotty last year, but I did manage to get my call through.

Beat me to the punch. Good advice all the same, just make sure no one is partying in the background while you make the call. Unless they're throwing up, in which case it might help.
