It was two bucks. I was actually expecting it to be a lot more, but I guess they were nice and realized that is one thing people really needed to survive.

Hi - just got my tickets and super excited for my first Sasquatch! Unfortunately I can't stay the whole time but I still want to camp the nights I'll be there.

Just wondering how packed the general camping area is and if they leave space large enough to drive through. Is it feasible that I will be able to pack up and drive out of the general camping area on say, Sunday night at some point, or do you really have to wait until everyone leaves to get out? Thanks!

Most of the campground is like a giant parking lot, so you will have no problem leaving whenever you want. There are a couple areas in which you can get parked in, so if that does happen, let your neighbors know when you are leaving, and they will be more than happy to accommodate your exit.

Trying to drive through the campground sucks enough during the day (worse if it's rained).

Here's my advice: If you're staying Saturday night, going to the festival on Sunday, and leaving Sunday night -- just pack all your shit on Sunday morning, move your car to the parking lot (parking = free), and you will have a MUCH easier Sunday evening.

That's what I've done in the past and it worked out great.

I had no idea ice was only $2. I skipped it as well, as the line-up was insane. Although this year I am really contemplating leaving the campground for a trip to the nearest ice vendor/river entrance/breakfast.

Looks like a good spot to jump in for a soak. Do you know if there are any good access points for the river around there?

oh heck ya. right where I-90 crosses over the river, take a right where the road splits and follow that down a few miles. right in front of the old getty's cove campground is an awesome bridge that you can jump off of and rocks that you can climb down into the river from. great swimming spot!

Hello everyone. I'm a four year Bonnaroo veteran from Baltimore, but after seeing the lineups I've decided to make the switch to Sasquatch this year. I just booked everything for myself and a buddy to hang in Seattle for a couple nights and then camp at the Gorge for the weekend. I'm pretty damn excited. I need some advice from people that fly and then rent a car to the Gorge. Do you pack sleeping bags, tents, pillows, etc. for the plane trip? I've always been a light flyer and I'm not sure how difficult it would be to haul all of this across the country. Any advice on the process of flying, renting a car, and then camping would be awesome. I've done some searching and haven't found much on this so I apologize in advance if this has been discussed a hundred times before. Thanks!

This will be my first Sasquatch as an out-of-stater, so I'm kind of in the same boat. My girlfriend and I have family/friends in Seattle, though, so we'll probably be picking up some materials there...

Packing is really up to you. Depending on how big your tent is, you could reasonably pack your clothing/toiletries in a small bag/backpack and carry that on, while packing your tent/sleeping bag/etc in a larger suitcase and checking that.

Alternately, there's an REI in Seattle that I've used several times to rent tents and stuff. They're always super helpful, and reasonably priced.

Welcome to Sasquatch.

Welcome to the board Gary Williams. I hope your boys beat up on the Dukies tonight. Duke has got to be the most overrated team this year.

Well thank you. I know Vasquez will bring his A-game on senior night and we will come out victorious. Coach K the ratface will not be pleased.
