Also, Ticketmaster should be able to help track down the guy who scammed you initially via his credit card information if you file a complaint with the Victoria PD.

Ah ha. Probably not worth the hassle for a $20 ticket, but for $400, this needs to be done. I would love to hear the conclusion to this.

Still unlikely. I had $500 stolen out of my room when a roommate threw a house party. Even though I had names of everyone who was there, the cops weren't willing to do much because less than $1000 was stolen.

That being said, after telling everyone that I was "talking" to the cops, $400 of my money mysteriously appeared on my doorstep within a couple of days. So at the very least you could try some scare tactics.

Its a shame this guy will probably never come back and tell us what happened or even take any of our advice because clearly all he wanted was someone to give him a free ticket.

I know, me too! I don't think he was bullshitting or anything, but I definitely hoped he'd take the initiative and work something out and that this story would have a cool ending to it where that guy gets to party at Sasquatch and the asshole scalper gets arrested.
