Well, I use the term "work" loosely. I was part of a film club in university and I volunteered at their 400-seat theater for three years and helped run the actual club for two. I was a "floor manager" which basically meant that I when I worked I was given a $30 per diem and was in charge of everything that wasn't the actual projection of the movie. Overseeing ticket sales, concessions, that sort of thing. The club was super lax and I'd pretty much just hang out with the unpaid volunteers all shift. We'd put on special events a couple times a semester (like an annual Big Lebowski Beer Garden, complete with White Russians) and generally have awesome times. There were lots of drinking games that appeared during that event especially. "Drink every time ____ happens in the movie" was very common. Examples given: someone says Lebowski, someone drinks, someone says Dude, or the F-word is spoken. I'd even look the other way when occasionally someone would light up after the line, "mind if I do a J?" Security was not so tolerant.

It really is. I still go a few times a year for special events. I used to run the beer gardens but these days I just show up early to help them set up and then when the doors open I'm already inside with two beers in hand.

The Normand Bouchard Memorial Theatre, or "The Norm" for short, located on campus at UBC. Owned by the Alma Matter Society and run by the UBC Film Society. It's a second run theatre so they get the new released after they're in regular cinemas, and they also screen independent, foreign, and classic films. If you don't have a reason to visit UBC it's kinda out of the way for most people (including myself these days,) but it's definitely worth a visit if you ever find yourself wandering campus one evening with some time to kill!

I love when someone makes the rule that after every sentence you have to say "sexually".

examples: "Take a drink! Sexually" "I'm getting pretty drunk, sexually" etc

It sounds cheesy but it's actually pretty hilarious
