How hard is it to sneak in (to the ampitheatre), how prevalent, and can you get arrested if caught?

Have I heard of it happening? Yes. Do I have any idea how it's done? No. Do I recommend trying? No, especially not this year when you can't even park your car without a ticket.

Back in 2008, I watched somebody just run and jump the turnstyle and simply disappear into the crowd. Wouldnt exactly reccomend it though.

I have a friend that sneaked in all 3 day's last year. Needless to say he is a helluva sprinter. He never got caught btw
