The crazy thing about HG's post is that I had to wonder about what animal would provide the urine, and then I was thinking, "Wouldn't it be easier and more practical to fill the balloons with your own urine?" And then I realized that I had actually had that thought in my brain, and that forced me to quit the Sasquatch boards forever.

So I could drive a semi truck onto camping grounds this year and not pay a penny extra on top of my ticket. Is that what is my understanding?

That si correct, if you stay in General Camping. A lot of motor home and large truck/trailer combos are as big as a semi. They have never charged more for an RV than for a tent, since you are only buying dirt anyway. You don't get any sort of hookups so it doesn't really cost the campground more for a larger vehicle.

So I am coming in Thursday night for friday's shows and then heading out on saturday. Can Anybody tell me how annoying it is for someone to try and leave the camp ground in the middle of the weekend? How packed do they pack in the cars? Any info would make a first timer much more relaxed... Thanks!

They do try and pack you in, but it is usually workable. I would try to leave when people are not all in the venue yet because it is possible you might need some people to move things. I have never actually tried to leave early except the year that it hailed and to be honest I was in sheer survival mode at that point and just remember trying to get out of the mud. Here is a picture I found that sort of shows how it is set up.

Yeah, you should be just fine. You'll be among the first people arriving, so just make sure that as others arrive (both Thursday and Friday) no one parks/camps you into your site. The closer you can get to an access road the better. Maybe mention this to the Gorgies as you are being ushered to a parking spot. Even if you do get parked in, people are usually pretty cool about moving their vehicles. Just make sure you talk to them before too late on Saturday when they are either A) inside the festival or B) too blitzed to drive.

Church. I Dr. Garbanzoured that picture is a pretty good representation because you are getting there early and that is where we were camped last year and we were one of the first there.

Don't camp incredibly close to a Honeybucket. Weird smells/sounds come out of those things late at night. :(

Ha! I could imagine.

I would assume this would be common sense, but after going to Sasquatch and seeing the collection of peeps there, it wouldn't surprise me if someone found this to be a brilliant suggestion ;)
