I have premier camping but if I get there around 9am, is that a bad idea?

I always leave Seattle around 8 or 9, set up camp, and then head over to the festival with plenty of time.

Great to hear but will I still have a spot in the premier area or will they put me in the general area. The only reason I even care is because I'm old and will need some sleep to make it all 3 days.

If you have a premier pass already then you have a camp site, don't worry about it. Furthermore, if you show up Saturday at 9am you'll still arrive before most people. Don't forget to come party with us in regular camping!

Thanks gentleman!! It eases my mind knowing that I'll have a spot when I arrive. OOOOHHHHHH..... I definitely planning a partying it up one or two nights... No worries! I'm not travelling all this way to sit on my hands and act like I'm AARP member.

yeah, last year there was pretty much no one partying saturday, sunday or monday. still small things going on, but not as much walking around site to site clanking beers and giving high-fives.
