I definitely shower daily. Between being a germaphobe and sweating like a mofo at festivals, I absolutely require a cleansing once a day. And the showers aren't bad at all. Just make sure you bring flip-flops.

I had one proper shower last year.. I'm hoping for at least two this year. I usually shower twice a day, but I'm also a friggen trooper, so if I need to be dirty, I'll be dirty and love every second.

I prefer to not smell like shit, though.

Hey Sara(h)nater, thanks, and I hope you get every shower you've ever dreamed of. :) I think we are coming from the same city as you - can you tell me the route you take? Do you just Google map it and hope for the best? Which crossing do you like to use?

Last year we visited a friend's parents in Kelowna on the way and to drop her dog off, so we took a different crossing than the one we'll take this year. One of the dudes I'm going down with, its his third or fourth year, so I Dr. Garbanzoure I'll just trust him. He says we will be stopping in "sandypoint" to load up, so whatever crossing takes you there.

Yup, I'm useless. Want to get shitfaced in the shower lineup with me?

Also, to the other people: is the shower open at night?

Kings Gate would be the crossing you'll be utilizing if you're going from Calgary to Sandpoint.

yeah. From Calgary, you basically drive to Cranbrook, BC (via Highway 3) then follow the signs south the border. You'll pass through Bonner's Ferry, ID and then Sandpoint, ID. Google maps does indeed know the way. It's probably the fastest way to get to Sasquatch from Calgary, but beware the border - crossing times can get lengthy since lots of people cross at that border crossing for Sasquatch.

I know I've posted this on the board at least a half-dozen times in the past 2 years, but SLOW THE FUCK DOWN going through Bonner's Ferry. There WILL be a speed-trap coming down the hill.

This has just been backed up by a coworker of mine who drove down to Couer d'alene last week.

If you don't want a cold shower, set a dark 5-gallon bucket full of h2o out in the glorious sasquatch sun for the day. A bucket is only a few bucks; I'm not sure how many liters that is - plenty for a good sponge bath. It's suppose to be 86 here next week...
