 Family camping/hotel
« Thread Started on Jan 22, 2011, 9:42pm »

Hey everyone! I am excited about this year's festival. Could anyone give me the 411 on families? Is there any area for families? My girlfriend, my 2 year old and I are wondering.

Thanks!

The Sasquatch camp ground is about the least family-friendly place. There are VIP options and very expensive premier camping options, and I can't speak for them but I imagine they're slightly better suited to families. But on the whole, I would recommend finding a hotel or a babysitter.

The 411 is man, having to carry a 2 year old around for the weekend really puts things like "Aw man, I don't wanna hold my hoodie all day until it gets cold" in perspective.

Do NOT bring a two year old to Sasquatch.

Ya, I would be worried about bringing my toddler to Sasquatch (if I had one)... but if you're gonna do it, a hotel or maybe Wildhorse would be the best option.

No just don't, period. You are a bad parent if you bring a two yr old to Sasquatch.

Let's hope no Animal Collective is there for you then, because babies hate Animal Collective.

I would get a hotel and stake out a spot on the hill with a blanket.

After finding a sitter for your infant.

Twelve hours, exposed to the elements, with music much too loud for baby ears. Your baby doesn't want to go to Sasquatch.

I don't think I'd take any child to a festival. They'd get fussy and ruin your experience.

I would pay a relative anything to mot ahve to take a kid that age to Sasquatch. In my personal and conservative opinion, I would not take a kid younger than 16 there.

2 years ago they even had a live sex show on the hillside that everyone at the main stage could see.

It was a surprise show - wasn't even on the lineup!
