It is a bizarre, often ugly record that induced full-on freakouts and left me determined to throw a dinner party for my friends at which we would serve mail-ordered pork roll, egg and cheese on a kaiser bun (this is actually going to happen, by the way, and you are all invited).

I would like to say that this was not solely his idea.

I can't really add much to this as I shared the same experience, and the same tears, at the same time. I woke up the next morning with a red, terrible face because Deaner had been melting my whole being with his guitar and all I could do was writhe around and claw at my face trying to take it all in. Ween is ingrained in my personal history and has a lot to do with the person I am today. I kind of walk around trying to be nice and talking about cats and happy things, but my core is brown. Deeply. I am in heaven when lost in an extended jam, watching Deaner make his O face and shred into the night. I am sad not just for myself, or other fans, but for the brothers Ween. Gene Ween is gone. Who will Deaner play the guitar for now?

Ween is dead.

Long live Ween.

Your best yet gammy grams.

Thanks Foxy. I've been putting it together in my head for the last week, and I worked really hard on it all morning.

I'm glad it didn't read as complete gibberish, as first-person accounts of drug trips tend to do.

That was a wicked read, thanks HG!

That was beautiful.

That was a beautiful read. When I met you guys and Ween naturally came up, I talked about how I had only really heard The Mollusk and La Cucaracha , and you praised the former and kinda shrugged at the belt sander and said it wasn't their best, I was totally going to say "but, but, Woman and Man. That song is out of this fucking world. Shred city, yo." But I was too high and said nothing of the sort.

I'm putting on Quebec right now for the first time because of your Ween love. Thanks, dude.

Hahahahaha, that filter is even better than Bjorrito.

Qubec is wonderful. Also you really should hear White Pepper. And Chocolate and Cheese. And and and...

Hahaha, excellent

Yah mon. Definitely check out some of their old, weird shit too. Specifically Pure Guava. You'd love that shit.

This album is fucking incredible. Bold statement forthcoming: I am listening to every Ween record and every Primus record and seeing Primus tonight before I go to sleep.

This is why we are friends.

Those are some large plans. All I can say is that every single Ween album is worth the time, and Primus is not to be missed.

Almost every Primus album is worth your attention, but you could do yourself a favor and skip Antipop. It's a real turd. I'm not huge on The Brown Album either, but a lot of (younger) Primus fans would disagree.
