|  | NEED A RIDE FROM TEXAS. PLEASE HELP

So last minute and the chances are slim, but there's no reason to not try. A friend and I were going to roadtrip from Austin and I took my car for a checkup and they told me it would most likely not make the voyage. Horrible thing to find out weeks before the fest. If you have room out there for us, we will split costs, buy you booze, take turns driving, whatever, to get there.
If you don't leave from Austin, we'd be willing to meet you somewhere within a reasonable distance in Texas.

Well, if you still need a ride, my friend and I are leaving from Lincoln, Nebraska if that helps you out at all (I don't know if your car can make it here or not - I suppose it is quite a bit closer than Washington). If so, it certainly never hurts to have more people to split gas costs for a long trip!
