Anyone turning this into a road trip?
I'd be more than willing to cough up my share of gas money for a ride. Am meeting friends once there, so I promise not to step on your toes once we make it to the Gorge.

Actually, Me and some friends are planning to fly to LA (from North Carolina), rent a car, and drive gradually up to The Gorge with stops including San Fran, Portland, and Seattle. If you're looking to tour through Portland and Seattle on the way and be a tourist, this could possibly work (and I'm assuming you probably know these cities better than we do)
