more specifically Houston. or even places like Austin, San Antonio, etc. The request probably sounds weird but my gf and I want the ability to meet the people we'd be sharing rides with beforehand. You know, to avoid meeting at the airport only to realize we're with psychotic crazies who will sell our organs on the black market.
we're looking to share some kind of ride, ie splitting a car rental; other ideas welcome.
we'll be arriving at SEA airport.

tangipoo, I'll be coming from Houston with my girlfriend but we are going to be flying in Thursday night so we can check out some of the sites Friday before we head to the Gorge. FYI, continental flights just dropped from $317 to $238.

what the who what! 238? every time i've checked today it's only been as low as 298  do you have some voodoo magic working for you guys?
p.s. (odd question i know) you wouldn't happen to know anybody in houston that wants to buy 2 turntables with mixer and some records, would you? we're trying to pawn them off to help pay for plane tix =D

Ah damn, sorry tangipoo, I had the wrong dates entered in bing.com. You're right, the lowest I see is $317 and bing is saying to wait to book. Sorry to get your hopes up.
As for the other, I'm always interested in good vinyl, let me know what you got and what you'd sell it for. I'm no DJ though so I'll ask friends about buying your turntables and mixer.

hola tangi. i am from san antonio. im like 99% sure that im going. i was planning on paying for airfare and ticket/camping ticket for a chick to come with me to coachella, but she went for some other guy. so basically, that opens up the possibility to head to sasquatch. also, i will def be looking to celebrate due to certain circumstances!! will more than likely purchase tix if not this payday (on friday), then on the next payday (three fridays from now).
i see that you and daddyo are from houston. i am there on occasion for shows, but usually go to austin since it's closer. however, i will def be there on the 29 so I can dive Mammoth Lake on the 30 of this month. Maybe, we could meet up for some drinks.

hey jigawig. sorry for the late reply. haven't been on this board for awhile. we probably missed you coming to houston already? :x maybe we could arrange something for later? you mentioned maybe we could all meet up for drinks, does this mean you're over 21? are you going to sasquatch alone or with people?

hey, no prob. yeah, i was just in houston two weekends ago, but really just for friday night (the 26th). didnt really do much except get dinner, and a few drinks in the rice university area. i guess that would answer your question...yes, i am def older than 21. actually, will be 29 on the 21 of this month. i am actually going by myself to sasquatch. however, i have found a ride from seattle to the gorge, and back. although, things might not workout since a camping pass is only good for four people. basically, i will have a ride to the gorge, but i would be the fifth wheel, and therefore have to camp in a separate spot...good thing i have my own camping pass.
anywho, i dont know when i will be in houston again, seeing as how i generally go to austin for shows, but ill give you a heads up.

GUYS!!! Flights from IAH to SEA for $217 ROUND TRIP!!! ALASKA AIR flights AS731 (departs 7:25am on Thu, May 27) and AS730 (departs 1:05pm) GET ON IT!!
