Oh man, you can never win as a dude offering a ride to a girl in any carpool thread. It never works out.....even if you have the best intentions.

Despite how this thread started off, I ended up giving them a ride. My brother works with one of them, when I connected the dots I could not stop laughing.

Relax bud.

I'd be nervous for her having to spend all that time in a car with someone with no sense of humor.

Where did I offer any hint that I didn't find previous posts humorous?

I also find it rather funny that the mod said fuck you to me. You'd Dr. Garbanzoure someone with 5k+posts on a forum and who is a mod would be able to take a joke.

Still looking for a seat or I'm still offering. But remember

You'd think that someone who claims to know so much about how message boards work wouldn't be surprised when someone hits them with a Fuck You after they start calling the regulars trolls in less than five posts.

You're right, though. I am a mod, and I should be more polite. I meant to say: Fuck you, sir.

Your jokes did not come through as jokes. No joke.

In all seriousness though, we just get kinda punchy around here in the last couple months before the festival and we tend to dogpile on pretty much any new thread. Six weeks from now, there's going to be at least a dozen more threads started by people looking to rideshare and they're all gonna look like this one in no time flat.

Ridesharing is cool and you've come to the right place to make it happen. Don't take it so hard.

Man, if you think this place is bad, take 5 minutes to read what happens when people look for ride-shares on the Coachella boards.

Seriously, it kills me when people get touchy on here. Comparing this to the Coachella board is like comparing Friendlyville, Montana to Manhattan.

And not Manhattan, MT, which exists.

Well looks like I'm driving and I've got room for one more. Myself and two other friends (girls). Know you'll probably have to pack conservatively...
