Oh and if you didn't see the thread, here's my sob story for my friend who needs tickets:
My poor friend Yesi grew up in rural South Carolina, where each resident does things like this:
Help this poor girl get more of a cultural influence in the beautiful, intellectual music that resounds from the Gorge and all along the Columbia River. Don't leave her swimming through the murkiest ponds of South Carolina searching for turtles.

I've never been to sasquatch but ever since I saw the lineup last year I've been dying to go. If anyone is willing to hook me up with a pass i'll definitely pay face value. I live in the Seattle Area so I'd be willing to pick it up. Thanks.

If anyone in the Vancouver area is selling 1-3 reasonably priced 3-day passes, i'd love for you to sell them to me. I went to Sasquatch last year and it was easily the best three days of my life and this year (since it has such a stellar line-up) I want to take some of my friends to experience it with me, so if you have 2 or 3 passes you could part with, I would find great joy in purchasing them.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi I am looking to buy a three day pass to Sasquatch. I don't really have an elaborate story to tell but essentially I didn't have the money before or anyone to go with and now I do, so my timing is just really bad. I've been to Sasquatch before and it was absolutely amazing and I would love to go again. Not to be picky, but I am from BC so I would prefer a seller who is also in BC (easier to set up). I've had a tough semester and Sasquatch would be the perfect mini vacation that would be something to look forward to. Thanks!

Announcement: reposting here for most effective use of space.
Warning: totally wanna-be sad story to follow.
Hi.
I live in Hawaii (waaahhhhh...commence feeling sorry for me). Mostly, it's great living here...except for the lack of music!? Seriously, what is it with bands who don't want to vacation in paradise while on tour? I just don't get it...
That being said, I have to leave these (most isolated in the world) islands in order to hear any type of good music. Therefore, Sasquatch is the most logical choice since (nearly) every good band in the universe (on the planet) is gonna be there!! YAY!
Why didn't I get tickets before?? I am LAME, that's why. I waited...unsure whether I could afford to fly to Washington, somehow make it to festival, then get myself in the door and pay for camping... What was I thinking?! Life is for living!
So now, I grovel to you...begging you to please please please help a sad, island dwelling, volcanologist go to this "concert of concert", "festival of festivals", "party of parties". 2009 sucked, so here's to a great 2010 with good music and good peeps!
And yes, volcanolgist...which means, if you are super awesome and sell me your tickets at face value (plus taxes and fees, of course) , I will offer to you a personally guided tour of Kilauea Volcano when you make it over to Hawaii. Wanna bake burritos on lava flows? Yeah, I thought so...
Thank you for getting to this point in my pitiful message. Lots of love! Wendy

Dear Universe,
Remember that one time I sold my sold out flaming lips tix and my extra Sasquatch 2008 tix for face value when I could have sold them for double? If you know of anyone selling Monday Sasquatch tix for a lot less than highway robbery please send them my way. I promise I won't shake my fist at you with indignation ever again. Yours truly, Leslie
ltutol@hotmail.com In need of 4 Monday tickets because I would like to take my brother, sister, and cousin. It's their first time and I would love to share this experience with them!
Thank you for your consideration.

gday from australia, the dingoes got my baby, i just had lunch and a few beers at the pub with a kangaroo and i am presently shaving a koala bear, heres the deal.... My name is adam, im 24 and I have a mate who left the mothercountry about 4 months ago and has been doing the working-in-the-snow thing up in canada since then, me and a mate decided about a month ago that we are going to get ourselves over there to visit him, arriving in LA on the 23rd of may, and the plan was to meet him at the festival then road trip it for a few weeks around the USA, much to his disbelief, we wont do it he said..... well, flights are booked, campervans are deposited and livers are in training, the perfect recipe for the trip of a lifetime. However, sasquatch sold out in the midst of us deciding who'd buy tickets, us here while still in OZ or he'd get 2 more for us. Our mate has got the camping ticket covered for us all but Basically if i can get some actual festival tickets (3 day) at a great price thats good, if its going to cost me a little more, my bad luck but hey, i will do what i have to do. why sell your tickets to me? because basically I need them, they are a prime ingredient to this voyage, and its a good story isnt it, imagine me and my mate rocking up to your doorstep, or meeting you wherever it is we have to go to get the tickets?, i put it to you my future ticket-yielding American comrade, this is going to be one of the greatest storys ever told.... heck, you can even join us on our american road-trip odyssey as a thankyou
Also, if the worst happens and we do not get some tickets before fleeing oz, will there be people flogging them off at the gate?
Oh, if indeed this works and i am able to get some tickets on here, i will do things you have never seen a man do..... i will make the news, i will become a sasquatch cult hero.....
i am sick of writing tickets, tickets?
my email is adamyoung555@hotmail.com
peace

It's my own fault. I have known about the festival for months through my 16-year old, but having personally never heard of it I thought I had plenty of time to buy tickets. We're from Baltimore and both my sons (16 and 18) are musicians. Going to Sasquatch was their big end of school year present this year! Yesterday in an act of desperation I almost fall for a physhing scam through a vendor on Craigs List. All I can say is be carefull out there. I'm still flying with my kids to the festival and hope that I can get two three-day decent price tickets before I get them there. Peace of mind for a mom. Talk about mama really srewing it up! Help me fix it, won't you?

if I can find some tickets for sale, I'm going to try to hook up the chick from Hawaii and the dude from Australia.
Those are just good stories.

I would have to agree too. And I'm even trying to get tickets too (for my friend, as stated earlier).
Though the story from the aptly named "badmama" seems especially the most sad.

I'd sell all my relatives to get 2 tickets for Sasquatch. I'm an Irishman based in Vancouver, and was really looking forward to the lineup. The National, Broken Social Scene, Deadmau5, Minus The Bear, Massive Attack, Booka Shade, A-Trak, Boys Noize, No Age standing out most. I have seen a lot of these before , and would love to again. A great range of acts, and I'm sure I would discover a few new ones too. When I saw Peatrick's post re: giving his tickets to barfo (me), I was ecstatic, so I duly replied to him. He reneged on that offer, much to my disappointment. So hear I sit, crying into my Guinness, wiping my tears with the sleeve of my aran jumper, hoping a kind hearted individual might 'hook me up'. If you help me get there, I'll guarantee the best of 'craic' and bestow upon thee a thousand Irish blessings and good forchune. Yours, Barfo
