I wasn't seriously looking. I actually have other plans on Friday, but I just feel like I'm never going to get another chance to see them if I miss this show.

If that's the case, I'll just add it to the ever-growing list of bands that I should have seen when they were in town.

There is a difference between wanting to see certain bands because I'm a big fan, and wanting to see certain bands because one day I'll look back and say "fuck, I really should have gone to that Audioslave/White Stripes/Pearl Jam show back in the day"

As far as I can remember I've been vocal about how shitty it is that Modest Mouse and The National have never toured here. If you can remember more, please correct me.

Fuck I wish I didn't have to sell tonights tickets. Now I WANT to go. Oh well.

Modest Mouse played in Edmonton in 2007. They also played here in Calgary with Man Man and it was great. The National is constantly letting me down by touring the world 10X over and not once hitting up our province.

Last night Eddie Vedder got on stage with Mudhoney at New City Legion to do an MC5 cover. It's pretty much all the local radio station has talked about all day.

Ha ha, Mudhoney played at a local spot the night before the Calgary show and there was an advertised "very special guest". The very special guest was....Chad VanGaalen. That's just dirty pool.

No, apparently they only gave out 75 tickets. I don't think there were tickets at the door or anything.
