How is that possible? They have only had wristbands for the past 2 years and 2011's wristband was made of plastic.

I still have my 2012 one on. I made a drunken bet with a friend who could keep it on longer, I was so sure he would forget. I shampoo it every day so it still looks and smells fine.

They might've been the ones they give you for beer. He had the white one and the felt one from last year, too. Lotta fuckin' wristbands.

The beer ones are paper, but they would probably stay on for a while if I tried really hard.

I met a girl in Germany who had a few different festival wristbands; one was from 2008.

I'm with Stormy. The sweat accumulation that comes with having that wristband is too uncomfortable for me.

Yikes. I hope people aren't that desperate for Macklemore tickets.

http://anchorage.craigslist.org/tix/3619937852.html

These tickets were on sale for $20.

I found this pretty much by accident.

http://seatgeek.com/blog/concerts/sasquatch-2013-tickets-2

Quote:
Secondary market ticket prices have fluctuated from year to year in the $300 to $350 range. 2012 Sasquatch tickets sold for an average of $321, only $6 above the face value price of $315. Looking at the chart below, you can see the obvious trend that ticket prices drop as the event draws closer. Even though tickets sold out for the last two festivals, tickets on the secondary market became a lot more affordable for those most patient, and even sold well below face value. There is nearly a $200 price difference between tickets purchased in February opposed to May.

2012 looks a lot different because it didn't sell out until March or something. 2011 is a much closer model as to what is happening this year.

Once again:

There is nearly a $200 price difference between tickets purchased in February opposed to May.

If tickets in 2012 didn't sell out 'til March, why the hell were people paying above face value in February?? I really shouldn't still be so amazed by the stupidity of some people, and yet here I am...

People are dumb; I'm sure some sort of google combo takes you to stubhub before ticketmaster and people just go with it.

there are not many tix on stubhub.

This year's sell out wasn't driven so much by scalpers as it was fans. So, I wouldn't expect there to be as many tickets coming available late as there has been in the past.

Not saying people should purchase from stubhub, just folks should be aware you'll be Dr. Garbanzohting over a smaller pool of extra tix come May.
