Does anyone else feel like there are considerably more tickets becoming available this year, compared to last?

...that would be because most of the tickets were bought up by scalpers and now they're desperate to unload them.

Do you mean "available" as in just random sellers, or like when they resold on ticketmaster?

I meant random face value sellers.

The ticketmaster fiasco doesn't surprise me at all.

Since Chud pooped this I Dr. Garbanzoured I'd share a not very interesting story

I'm trying to find some tickets to go see Frightened Rabbit here tomorrow. They're booked at some where tiny venue and tickets sold out pretty much immediately when they went on sale this summer. A lot of people are trying to sell them for 3 times face value (15 bucks) and I'm really only willing to pay 20 bucks. This one ad in particular caught my eye because the ad said "selling 2 tickets for face value ($67)." I was so confused that I Dr. Garbanzoured I'd send an email and ask wtf they were talking about. I got a response pretty quickly and along with it was an attached invoice from some stubhub knockoff. I feel slightly better knowing she's not being completely disingenuous about the price of the tickets but do people seriously not know what face value actually means?

The best part is she's probably going to sell me the tickets for 40 bucks tomorrow anyway.

Well, if you're not asking for too much above face value...

Looks like a real profitable year to be a scalper, though.
