What I really want to know is why you came BACK to post that you're going to be there when it's obvious that nobody gives a shit.

If you were younger and not married? I clicked on your profile and expected a 50 year old. It says you're 26, yeah? The majority of the consistent posters on here are actually older than you. And some of them are married, too. To my knowledge, most of us are camping.

I'm going camping with my boyfriend who is older than you are and he looks forward to it. We both do.

I understand not wanting to camp, kind of, but I don't see how a 26-year old can complain about being too old to camp at a music festival. Don't start putting a foot into your grave--you're in your prime!

I never thought as a girl, I'd be convincing a guy to camp ;)

Seems like a silly thing to complain about. There are plenty of legitimate things to complain about. (ie, LiveNation, alcohol prices, etc.) However, we've beaten those topics to a pulp, so howz about no more complaining about silly drivel?

I think you misunderstood. I didn't mean to say that camping is not for "Old People." I didn't mean to imply that I'm 50. I'm speaking exclusively about my own personal preferences. If I was 21 and single, or with a big group of friends, camping would be a blast. However, I am flying across the country for this festival and it's hard to coordinate a large group to travel like that. I'm not saying that I have no interest in meeting new people, but after a full day of listening to bands, I'm pretty exhausted and just want to sleep. This wasn't such an easy task last time, so I'm trying something different. Who knows, maybe I'll regret my decision, but I'm happy to try something new.

HG, give it a rest already. You present yourself in a manner which implies that you have some sort of self worth on this forum. Sad.

My 'self worth' comes from the fact that I'm not too much of a stick in the mud to enjoy the company of other people for a chaotic, exhausting, and all-too-short weekend.

Hey, you've got squatchcreep on your side - maybe the two of you can join forces and coordinate your efforts to clutter the board with useless and disruptive posts in an attempt to make it just a little less fun for the 99% of us who all really like each other and have constructive things to say.

While you're at it, see if you can convince squatchcreep to stay in your hotel room with you. Otherwise he'll be out on the campground feeling bitter and wishing he was invited to hang out with the rest of us boarders.

Gibbons. You're good people. You may have a shy post count, but you've managed to make me laugh my ass off every time you appear in a thread.

Thank you for that.

Seriously, Gibbons. At this point you're probably the most consistently awesome poster this board has ever seen.

Much like Geno, Gibbons looks exactly like his avatar in my mind so I can't help but laugh every time I see him post.

Haha. MY negativity. Hey while you're there see if you can find Adam Snacks and give him some pointers on how to put together a 'real' festival lineup.

I am honestly relieved that you and your 30 real friends that you have since you totally know 30 people who like you and that you can call friends in real life because they're your friends won't be trying to hang out with the rest of us. SCALPERS UNWELCOME
