I have no recollection of this shoutout...was I in the bathroom or something? Or maybe Dad Rapist was boring me that much.

It (Coachella) will be cheaper closer to the date. Week of is always better to buy from scalpers. Months before they can say whatever ridiculous price they want. Closer to the date, they've got to sell them.

I know that Adam Snacks is likely just trying to create a buying frenzy, but if this is true, it is insane.

If that is true, I'm going to be really really sad.

not surprising at all. I have no idea exactly what happened this year but with Coachella selling out so quickly even with a weak lineup I kind of expected Sasquatch to do the same. I guess it's just become such a northwest institution that it will be like this every year from now on. For example glastonbury sells out every year before the lineup is even announced

Not that I don't believe AZ, but they say this every year , about every festival. It's a way to sell tickets. However this doesn't make it untrue.

uh they say tickets are selling quickly every year but saying it's going to sell out within the week is a pretty specific statement...

Are they holding back single day tickets for the Feb. 14th date? Or do you think that pool only comes from leftover 4-day packages? I would guess they reserve at least a couple thousand singles, only because it is more lucrative.
