Buying tickets for Sasquatch « Thread Started on Feb 7, 2011, 7:39pm »
Hey all, I'm a complete newb to Sasquatch. I was on board with the whole Coachella fiasco this year (quickly selling out), and I was wondering if any experienced Squatch vets could answer a few questions that I have..
Do you think the festival will sell out this year?
Would prices skyrocket like they are for Coachella?
Is it worth it for Premier camping?
and lastly, Who is YOUR must-see act on this lineup?
mine is DFA1979/MSTRKRFT. I think its so sick they we've got both considering they share membersss

Try the Brasstaq thread next time.
Last year the fest sold out about 6 weeks after the lineup announcement and I expect it to do the same this year, but faster because of Coachella's status.
Yes prices will be insane if you buy after it sells out. Don't encourage scalpers.
No premier isn't worth it to me.
I agree with MSTRKRFT/DFA and am also excited for the Flaming Lips. Also Bassnectar, Skrillex, and a whole bunch of others.

Honestly, if you want to go, buy them now. Even if they never sell out, why would you pay more later for what you can buy today (unless of course, money is tight). I bought mine already, and I know even if I don't go I'll be able to sell them to someone.

I think its the sunglasses/connecting lines between eye sockets (which is it!) that really sells the whole thing. And Ice in giant letters on your wrists. Is that Helvetica?

Jeez, Mr. Cool Ice... So the cool means "hip" and not "chill". I understand... And I wish there had been a D & D class. That probably would have been the best class ever.
