I would totally go to this if it wasn't the most impractical thing in the world to do.
Friday: Titus Andronicus, The Aquabats, The Drums, The Morning Benders, Here We Go Magic, !!!, Cee-Lo, Cold War Kids, and Sleigh Bells in the same day? And then I can leave before anyone else does because the top of the lineup is awful?! AWESOME!
Saturday: Arcade Fire, Animal Collective... uh... shit, maybe I wouldn't go to this after all. BSS should probably sue over their font size. I'm glad to see One Day As A Lion is back together, though. That's the big reunion to me.
Sunday: DOO DOO DOO DOO, DOO DOO DOO, DOO DOO DOO DOO. DOO DOO DOO DOO, DOO DOO DOO, DOO DOO barbra streisand
also kanye

I am amused at who "One day as a Lion" is, and how low their billing is.

I think it's less that I don't realize how big they are it's just that I don't understand how a group with like 12 songs is going to be top 3 at the largest music festival in the US. It's just a shockingly fast ascent and I can't think of anyone to compare them to

I love me some Zac,
I totally missed One Day as a Lion , when I was looking at the poster, but that is going to be awesome.
Are they recording? I don't remember hearing anything about a new album.

I agree, and Animal Collective is far more fucked up being second than Mumfords being third.
I can think of two bands to roughly compare them to, also on the lineup. If Kings of Leon had made another Bright Eyes album, that would be a decent example. Instead they made a super pop album that made them headliners at festivals (and yes, I know they already had three albums prior, so it's more of an example about increased popularity than one album wonder).
A better example would be the Strokes.

Fleet Foxes. Some great stuff on that first record (I think it's better without lumping Sun Giant in with it), but man it already sounds dated - as completely a part of the decade that just ended as Bush or Sponge or Mudhoney sounds like a part of the 90's. I feel like the pants-wetting over Fleet Foxes should have abated by now.

Hey though, it's nice to see Lauryn Hill re-emerging.

Sun Giant is good, don't get me wrong. But if you take the S/T and Sun Giant together, it becomes kind of meandering and tiresome.

I'm betting she is this years Sly Stone. She will be late and she will bring the hate.

I feel like Lauryn Hill is such a risky booking for a festival which has a schedule like a Victorian train station. Ten bucks says her performance doesn't happen or is less than 20 minutes.
