I have never been to Josephine but I hear it is like Black Lodge. It is BYOB.
The bands that are playing are on Good To Die Records. I have been a fan of everything on this label. They are all "heavy" bands. I have seen Rabbits, Monogamy Party and Brokaw before and am super stoked to see them again.
The guy that runs Good To Die Records used to do a blog under "Seattle Rock Guy". He has a passion for a certain style of music and loves the live show. If you go to the Josephine on Friday you are going to get some pretty heavy chunes and a killer show.

That Brokaw sounded so fucking cool that I just bought there album. I love these bandcamp postings you do. I've found some great stuff based on your recommends.

That is so rad! I am glad that you like some of the chunes. It always feels good to see people spending money on bands that don't really make money from music in the first place. They just do it because they love to do it and are good at it!
By the way, the track "You Didn't Invent Sex" has been stuck in my head pretty much all year long.
