Nope, not spoofing, and you can't do that either. It behooves the mods to continue this endeavor. Souly can attest the Coachella mods get free weekend passes. I doubt that ever happens here, but it might.

It's also a decent enough reason to remove lame duck moderators, and replace them with people who hang out here regularly, and care about the festival.

Holy shit Matt and Kim are going to be around?!?!

Tickets fucking purchased. Wait, not purchased. Ticketmaster is unimpressed my credit card expires in September. Tickets soon to be purchased once I get a new card. Who's with me? KY? Empty? Rusty? (you'll like it, I promise)

Yea, I've been thinking about buying tickets for awhile now. Problem is I work at 7am the next day. It is at the Commodore though which would be awesome. Maybe I can see if I can switch shifts, or just be really tired the next day? Wouldn't be the first time.

Ok, I probably just convinced myself into this. So count me in.

edit: Ticket purchased. While I was on the ticketmaster site I saw that The Weeknd is coming and playing one of the worst venues, Pacific Coliseum, for like $50! Thats outrageous and yet I still really want to go. What's wrong with me?

Okay, several things:

St. Vincent/David Byrne is on 10/18, and tickets sold out before I got a chance to buy one. That said I'm still thinking about going down to the venue that night.

Matt and Kim is at the Roseland, isn't it? I don't know Portland venues. Also it's only $20 plus fees, which is pretty cheap imo, given that they cost $37 here in Oakland.

Third, let me know who gets tickets, this should be fun. See you there Geno.

Also, this is all dependent on me not spending money in the meantime, because I'm particularly poor right now.

St. Vincent/David Byrne is still not sold out. Busted.

Those shows are ten days apart. You're in town that long?

Where were you able to find Matt & Kim tickets? They still haven't put them on the Roseland website, and Matt & Kim's tour dates page doesn't link to any ticket purchasing page.

Mod changes have already been discussed at length, and will take place once it starts getting a bit busier around here again.

For sure; the 'excellent points' I was referring to were the ones that involved me getting free Sasquatch tickets.
