Silver Mt. Zion was really, really good last night. They're playing some Canadian shows and then the northwest if anyone is a fan. If you like them at all you should consider catching them

Did they play in a circle again and conjure up dark magic from unknown dimensions?

Yep. They even had a picture of Harper upside down behind them and said it was their form of voodoo, sending bad vibes in his direction

Yeah they're still playing Blindblindblind although most of their set is new stuff. I wouldn't say any of it is a serious departure though

Hm, hopefully going to Grimes in February and Chairlift in April (if they're not playing Sasquatch). Really want to go to Andrew W.K. in March!!!

Anyone else going to the Andrew Bird concert on April 9th? I died a little when Radiohead released their Seattle date...

I'm really surprised that Jeff Mangum hasn't sold out any of his nights in Portland already.

Nope. You're going with me.

But yeah, I'll have to see if Opeth changes their setlist. I'm not driving up there if they're playing the same set they did last time I saw them.

Bassnectar sold out in two days (1,500 venue). It took Justice 6 weeks to sell out the same venue. It's safe to say Bassnectar has blown up recently. A couple years ago, I was at a Bassnectar show with less than 1,000 people, and most of them were hippies. Kids these days.
