Damn you. I missed getting tickets while they were still on sale. I found someone on craiglist selling them for face, but he or she never responded when I emailed them about it. Let me know how it goes.

Man, the last time these guys came to Vancouver was the day after they closed out the side stage at Sasquatch '08. Customs gave them trouble about their lasers so they didn't have those, but it was still epic. They played Richards, too! Looks like they are once again skipping BC on their latest tour. I may have to come down to Seattle for this gig.

That's a real shame too because I would rather catch them in Vancouver. For whatever reason Seattle has one of their biggest fanbases so they come here all the time. And yea, sorry Muse, but Ghostland has the best light show OF ALL TIME.

HEY NOW!

But I haven't seen Ghostland before, so I can't compare. I am able to make objective decisions though. I'm not that crazy.

Edit: Anymore.

Souly I have to say that being a diehard Muse fan who has never listened to more than one Radiohead album seems kind of... irresponsible. I mean, Muse unabashedly rips off Radiohead in just about everything they do.

I'm sure your time on the Muse boards yielded roughly nine million conversations that consisted mostly of people saying NUH UH THEY DIHN'T, but they really really did.

Touche! But, I did use them as a comparison because they are a recent show that I attended with a stellar visual display.

Haha I know. I'm fully aware of this. And RATM as well. I have listened to Kid A. Didn't like it, and didn't really understand the appeal. I also don't understand how they sound ANYTHING like Muse, but that's probably because I'm listening to the wrong stuff. I promise there is some Radiohead in my future, and I'll give it a fair evaluation.

It just so happened that I got in to Muse first. Not sure why it became such an obsession, but it did. And for the record, I heard Kid A before I had even knew Muse existed.
