What makes you think that you possess the clearance to direct words at me? I go to more shows in a year than you will go in your entire life; that is who gives a fuck about what I opine. If no one gave a fuck, I would not have been approached this very night by a concert booker regarding my opinion on the very aforementioned. And not an irrelevant Canadian concert booker for a fifth-tier market either; Las Vegas, USA.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, not that you would ever know since you have never been, does not use the monopoly giant to distribute tickets. So I would have been reviewing a concert that was not even sold on TM; pretty sure that is impossible. Were Sasquatch passes on TM stock? If so, that show of their's was the only one I have had TM ticket for and the only one can 'review'.

Hate to break to to you dude, it's the internet, anyone can direct whatever words they want your way. And because it's the internet, you can also ignore whatever you want too! Magic huh?

Presumptuous much? Despite living in Calgary, I've actually been to the Cosmopolitan a couple of times, and I'm betting I'm not the only one on the board.

Do us all a favour and go away until you learn how to talk with grown-ups.

Edit: I know I'll get called on this if I don't clarify. I've stayed there a couple of times, one night each, but both were during the 6 months or so they were only partly open (this spring). I've never seen a show there.

That is like saying one has been to --- let me find something that is relatable to you Tundra dwellers -- Cirque du Soleil when you only visited the official website and stood outside the Grand Chapiteau clapping while the shows went on inside and out of view.

Cheers.

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAA MAD DICKS IN YOUR MOUTH PRIDE PARADE DAWG.

FIRST, YR PULLIN THE "I GO TO A LOTTA SHOWS CARD" CARD ON THE FREAKIN SASQUATCH MUSIC FESTIVAL FORUMS BOARD DOT COM ?? WHERE IT'S LIKE 80% DUDES WHO JUST SPEND THEIR TIME BEIN LIKE "OH OH OH I SAW SMITH WESTERNS AT THE CRYSTAL BALLROOM BACK IN MARCH NOW I JUST GOTTA WAIT UNTIL PEOPLE HAVE HEARD OF THEM AND THEY PLAY MSG AND THEN I'LL BE HUGE" BUT JUST CHANGE THE VENUE AND BAND EVERY WEEK. LITERALLY EVERY WEEK. LOOK AT THESE LOGS. JUST IN THE PAST TWO OR THREE WEEKS I SAW YEASAYER, THE FLAMING LIPS, WEEZER, LUPE FIASCO, DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979, MAN MAN, GLASS CANDY, KARKWA, LIST GOES ON. IN TWO WEEKS I'M GONNA SEE ANOTHER FIVE BANDS. FOR FREE. WITH FREE BEER. FUCK THE WEST COAST1 (THEN I MOVE BACK TO PITTSBRUGH WHERE ONLY HARDCORE BANDS AND DUBSTEPPERS DARE TREAD BUT THAT'S ANOTHER STORY)

SECONDLY, I'MA ROCK SOME FIRE JOE MORGAN SHIT AND ISOLATE A SENTENCE

"THIS VERY NIGHT?" "THE AFOREMENTIONED?" I OVERUSE THIS PHRASE SOMETIMES BUT EXC(Ux20)SE ME PRINCESS2 I DID NOT REALIZE THAT GOOD SIR KNIGHT CONCERT-BOOKER OF EMPYRE TYCKERMASTERE HAD RYDEN HIS GOOD STEED TO THINE THRONE3 -

OH WAIT I'M SORRY I JUST REALIZED THEY DON'T USE TICKETMASTER IN LAS VEGAS HUH? ROGUE CITY YALL. ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS BUT HONESTLY UNLESS YOU CORRECT ME ON THIS ONE4 IT JUST MEANS YOU USE, LIKE, TICKETWEB OR SOMETHING. OR YOU'RE LYING.

ONE LAST THING AND IT'S A BIG THING. YOU ARE BRAGGING ABOUT BEING BASED IN COSMOPOLITAN MAGAZINE LAS VEGAS LIKE IT'S SOME BIG DEAL. HTERE SOME PROBLEMS WITH THAT. THIS BOARD IS AT LEAST SOLIDLY SEATTLE/PORTLAND TYPES AND BOTH OF THOSE CITIES ARE LARGER THAN VEGAS. YEAH INTERSTRAIGHT5 EIGHT IS FROM SAN FRANCISCO (ALSO LARGER), THERE ARE A COUPLE OF CANADIANS (CANADA HAS A LOT MORE PEOPLE THAN LAS VEGAS) AND I GO TO MY SHOWS IN NEW YORK6, WHICH HAS LIKE THIRTY SHOWS ON A GIVEN NIGHT AND EVERY BAND PLAYS THERE SO FUCK OFF. LIVING IN VEGAS IS NOT SOMETHING TO BE BRAGGING ABOUT7

OKAY I THINK THAT'S ALL I GOT TO SAY FOR NOW BUT I'LL BE BACK WHENEVER EVIL REARS ITS UGLY HEAD

POSTSCRIPT YALL MAY REMEMBER THIS PARTICULAR WRITIN STYLE FROM THE SLING OUR BARBS THREAD OF YESTERYEAR. ONE KEY DIFF-DIFFY-DIFFERENCE FROM THAT: THOSE BARBS WERE IN GOOD FUN BACK IN THE DAY. JOHNNY VEGAS HERE PUSHED ME OVER THE EDGE AND, AS PROPHESIED, I LOST MY HEAD8

1. I'M BRINGIN IT BACK
2. To be read, "Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, Princess."
3. OF COURSE YOU HAVE A THRONE. YOU'RE THE KING OF MUSIC-FESTIVAL FORUM BOARD TROLLS9
4. YOU WILL
5. AN IRONIC NICKNAME BECAUSE AS PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED ALL YALL ARE GAY AS HELL
6. CONCRETE JUNGLE THAT'S ALRIGHT IF YOU LIKE SAXOPHONES
7. Las Vegas is Nevada’s economic workhorse and the gambling capital of, if not the world, at least the country. Nothing - nothing - about this industry suits it well for a recession. 2010 had the highest unemployment rate for the “arts, entertainment, and recreation” industry (of which gambling is a major subset) in at least a decade and, while it is early, 2011 looks like it is an unspectacular summer away from an even worse one – monthly rates for February and March 2011 are up over 4% from their counterparts one year earlier. Logically, in a recession people tend to save more. Luxury goods like vacations, to use a concept from microeconomics, tend to be very elastic in terms of demand and are likely one of the first cuts off of a household budget if there is, say, a massive drop in real wealth. Airfare is another highly elastic (5.82) service, something people will cut back on as budgets tighten even if the price of the service itself remains unchanged. As well, rising oil prices have forced airlines to raise prices and reduce capacity in some cases by over a quarter. Per the Las Vegas Visitor Profile, 41% of the tourists entering the city travel by plane. This alone does not mean people will stop travelling to Vegas; however, the same profile notes that nearly half (48%) of visitors travel from non-western states, where a trip can only feasibly be arranged with a flight.
8. UH HUH HA HA HA

Your CAPS LOCK key might be broken, limp dick.

By the fucking way, I saw Smith Westerns headline at One-Eyed Jacks (WAY smaller venue than Crystal) in the Spring.

In the past three weeks (to use your metric)(since 14July) I have seen Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Chino XL, El Gran Silencio, Engelbert Humperdinck, Explosions In The Sky, Immortal Technique, Lady Gaga, Lauryn Hill, No Age, Muse, Other Lives [six times], Rage Against The Machine, Rise Against, Stacy Clark, The Coasters, The Pbelt sanders, The Marvelettes, and Uh Huh Her [three times]; and that is only listing the better-known headliner acts (the lesser-known, which may be very much so known in a year or two, are double that list) in addition to other non-concert shows like Romeo & Juliet at the Utah Shakespeare Festival and Penn & Teller, oh and Strikeforce® Challengers at The Pearl (at the Palms). And it has been a slow three weeks. Entertainment capital of the world; it is why limp dicks like you save up for a year to fly in for a weekend and imagine you are cool when you get back home with hyperbolic tales of What Happens in Vegas®.

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, property not non-existent publication like you think, distributes its own tickets without an additional charge of any sort. Does not use ticketweb, killer.

Carry on.

Okay, this has gone too far, I was just laughing at this fucking clown but now I'm filled with rage and I don't want to be.

No more responding to this troll with anything but GET THE FUCK OUT because he is a non-contributing fuckstick who grew up with a dad who didn't love him and so he has to measure dicks his whole life to try to fill the empty hole inside of him. And I'm calling right now the "My dad did so love me more than your dad loved you and he trained infant warriors" post from this fucking blowhole.

So, without further ado...

Chino XL
El Gran Silencio
Rage Against The Machine

The Pbelt sanders
The Marvelettes

lol do you really count that
Engelbert Humperdinck

Legit
Explosions In The Sky
Immortal Technique
Lady Gaga
Lauryn Hill

How. How is that enjoyable. How is that not the equivalent of being locked in a closet until you finish the box of cigarettes
Other Lives [six times]
