I Dr. Garbanzoured since I posted about it in this thread yesterday I'd throw the review here too.

EDIT* just realized you linked me to the Canadian thread, and not the reviews thread. Well played.

I'm not sure that Why? is a band that I'm really need to see unplugged but I'll probably end up going to the show anyway, the chance to hear new songs is worth it

The lead singer of Why? with no instruments would be more entertaining than half the bands I've seen. I don't recall ever playing air guitar or tapping my foot to the funky beats to a Why? song.

I'm not disagreeing with that, Yoni is hysterical. I'm more worried that this means the Fog guys won't be touring and we'll be left with Yoni and Josiah by themselves. I'm sure it'll be great but I imagine I'd just rather have why tour normally.

Man, maybe I'm in the wrong thread, but I've never seen any band utilize stereo panning live as much as Animal Collective. I don't think I was close enough to notice last time, but last night I was up front, and 'dem vocals was bouncin' back and forth between my left and right ears.

DO THIS MORE, BANDS!

Fuck my life. Not even minutes after posting that I get a call from my girlfriend saying that one of our dogs got out and got in a Dr. Garbanzoht with another dog. The impending vet bill for the other dog is likely going to result in us not being able to go now. ARGH@(#$*&!@#!($&

Osheagea! Holy smokes I'm excited, going to be an amazing weekend. Montreal is the greatest.

When are you flying in (hopefully, sorry to hear about the dog man)? I'm in Friday afternoon, so I am hoping to get there by Bran Van.

My schedule looks pretty similar to yours, except I am certainly going to see Janelle Monae on Friday and I'm seeing MSTRKRFT instead of the Lips on Sunday.

What hotel are you at?

Nero was Saturday night, and holy shit, it was insane. Amazing freaking show. The WOMP was crazy. Danced my ass off. Amazing way to end the craziness that was Stampede. It was really strange though, Nero is two guys...but only one showed up. No mention of where the other guy was, it was actually billed as Nero. Still killed it though.

I saw J-Dawgs cowboy hat from across the packed theatre, so I pushed my way up and when I got there the dude wearing the hat was definitely not J-Dawg. So J-Dawg, I said hey to your buddy, hope you enjoyed the show.

Hopefully everything works out for you guys, thats terrible news.

I'm at "Hotel le Cantlie Suites" right by Mcgill (and only a 10 minute walk to club super sexe!).

Let me know if you are actually still making it out there, we should try and grab a beer at some point.

Funny thing is, I had always thought Nero was one guy because I saw some pictures of "them" performing at a gig in Seattle and there was only one person on stage. I wonder if this is a common occurence.
