Why have I not heard of this festival before? I know its new but still! Pemberton is so much closer than the Gorge too. I am kind of speechless right now.

1st year festival, and the pembertonfestival.com website is not even working yet. So it still might not go...

But I love how many acts are not the same acts at Sasquatch..I also love the Dance tent they have!

AND....it won't be 100 degrees either (knowing what I know...BC is pretty much same to Washington in weather right? Is it a temperate area? Its close to the mountains, so I am hoping not too hot?

Seems pretty legit to me. It can get pretty hot around the end of July/August but probably not as hot as the Gorge. The area is definitely not as arid and desert-like as George. I've been camping in Pemberton a few times. It a beautiful area. I am ridiculously excited for this fest, not to take anything away from Sasquatch!

That'll be known when Live Nation makes the official announcement and launches the website tomorrow. The website will be at www.pembertonfestival.com

Of course this all depends on final approval at a Pemberton council meeting tonight. But I think it's just a formality.

So they've added N*E*R*D, Matisyahu, Minus the Bear, and Inward Eye. MGMT cancelled.
