Last year Bonnaroo had Phish(x2), Beastie Boys, Al Green, David Byrne(he's big to me), Public Enemy, Paul Oakenfold(he's big on MDMA), Wilco, Springsteen, NIN, everyone's love band MGMT, our headliner Ben Harper, and Snoop Dogg. That's a lot of large very recognizable acts.

I have to admit the way they're revealing the lineup is pretty cool:

Ehhh maybe keep editing the post until someone replies? Then start anew under them. That way the latest release is the most recent post, and we also don't have to worry about catching up with five pages.

Oh yeah, suprised I didn't think of that, thanks I-8, anyway I'll have to leave my computer soon, didn't realize they were taking until 9PM to reveal the entire lineup.

i like how bonnaroo starts nearly 2 weeks after sasquatch ends and they get their lineup a week before we do. i wonder if the sasquatch planners Dr. Garbanzoure they can let that slide because most people around here aren't going to fly to tennessee for a festival anyway.

11:20 am Update: Bassnectar is lucky #13, while Neon Indian makes 14.
11:10 am Update: Cross Canadian Ragweed is the 12th confirmed band.
11:05 am Update: The Avett Brothers make #10. 311 is #11,
11:00 am Update: Might as well make The Flaming Lips #9.
10:45 am Update: Medeski Martin & Wood is band #6, Isis is band #7, & Punch Brothers is band #8.
10:20 am Update: John Fogerty confirmed to play Sunday.
10:00 am Update: OK Go is band #3. Baroness is band #4 (per press release).
8:20 am Update: Weezer is band #2.
7:30 am Update: Phoenix is the first confirmed participant.
The Chromeo featuring Daryl Hall sounds pretty interesting. I wonder if Sasquatch is going to pull that off as well.

Sasquatch better NEVER fucking announce the line up this way. It is painful. Bonnaroo made a mistake by saying this year was going to be the biggest and best ever and from what I've heard the line up is, it doesn't even come close to Coachella. But I'm biased in that I hate most jam bands.

I don't think that Sasquatch has enough devoted followers to announce the line-up band by band. Bonnaroo does, because its the biggest festival in the US and its fans are very rabid.
Although, Sasquatch is definitely trying new things with their announcement launch party this year.
And yes, the way that Bonnaroo is doing this, is a big pain in the ass.
