Im thinking about going but wondering if anyone else is from the northwest? Maybe a rideshare or something? I was thinking about plane tickets which are $400 round trip, but if we had a full or pretty much full car it would be cheaper, gas total from where I am meow would be ~$468 but if we had that split 3,4,or 5 ways it would be super cheap to get to an awesome 4 day festival.

I know when Coachella came out we came to the general consensus that there will be little overlap between the two festivals, with some disagreements. Bonnaroo comes out tomorrow, I think; I'll update this with the poster whenever it happens, but for the sake of Sasquatch does anyone know the relationship between Bonnaroo and Sasquatch lineups? It seems significantly larger than that of Coachella's; in 2009, overlap acts included Passion Pit, Hockey, The Knux (the Knux played at every goddamn festival), Animal Collective, TV On The Radio, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Decemberists, Grizzly Bear, St. Vincent, Santigold, Girl Talk, Nine Inch Nails, Bon Iver, Of Montreal, and Erykah Badu. Of course, the Bonnaroo lineup is like double ours, so it could just be a matter of picking which of the hundred or so bands announced for Manchester will come to George too.
INITIAL LINEUP

Bonnaroo were the ones who said it would announce Feb 2, not his fault.

It seems that if a band is on both the Coachella and Bonnaroo lineups it is a fairly good indicator that they will be doing the so called "festival circuit" and thus a decent chance of playing Sasquatch.

Depends on the band. Lower band, yes. Headliner, doubtful.

While that is true, it doesn't really matter because Coachella and Bonnaroo never share headliners anyway. And, some midsize, sub headliner bands have been known to play all three, not just small bands. For example, TV on the Radio last year.

They are obvously having an issue with a headliner that they delayed the line up. My guess is that they wanted to add soundgarden but one of the other headliners probably didnt want to move from there headlining spot.

I thought it was because they wanted to grab Neil Young, who was supposed to play Rothbury, but since it was cancelled they have been trying to get Neil Young to be a Roo headliner, which might have pushed one of their other headliner's down a notch. Bonnaroo has become so big that they are able to have like 4 or 5 headliners. This year they could have Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, KOL, DMB, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Flaming Lips, MMJ, and Guns & Roses. Thats alot of big time acts if they were to pull that off.
