I mean, Skrillex and Boys Noize are two of the biggest names in EDM right now, but the Dog Blood name is still virtually unknown. I think Coachella could go either way with them. At this point, if anyone is going to play the main stage, it will probably be Bassnectar, but I have a feeling we won't be seeing a main stage electronic closer this year. Either they chose a different direction with things or they had someone else (cough deadmau5 cough) lined up and it also fell through last minute.

I just noticed Trash Talk hidden near the bottom line on Saturday. I'm not sure how I missed that the first 12 times I looked at the lineup. Get yer mosh on!

One last thing (yea right) about the electronic billing for this year. Shit like this that I just discovered and continue to discover as I dig through the artists. It was NOWHERE to be found in the lineup last year. This kind of deep techno is flat out fucking dark and sexy. What an awesome slap in the face to the garbage from last year.

Grinderman put on such an epic show when they came to the King Cat in Seattle. I am very jealous that you Coachella attendees get to see that! Fucking radical.
Yeah, I drove up from Portland for that show. They dominated, but the crowd sucked. No rock band wants to play in front of a bunch of people standing still, except the National. I never push my way to the front, but I seriously considered it that night. Nick Cave deserves at least a handful of people losing their shit when he performs. That was a movie theater crowd.
And Moby? You can get stomped* by Obie, You 36 year old bald headed *** blow me. You don't know me, you're too old, let go, it's over, nobody listens to techno...

Today is lineup dissection day, so sorry for flooding this thread. I might have just found my favorite new sugary indie pop band. Kind of a Cults/Pains of Being Pure at Heart hybrid. Cavity-inducing sweetness.

I am impressed by all the Tech and Minimal artists on this lineup. I hope other festivals follow suit. A lot of people are tired of the generic cheesy pop house shit. Even many of the big EDM festivals, especially the ones in the NorthWest totally leave out these genres.
These are some artists I'd make sure to check out. Leaving out the obvious ones.
