I can leave on Thursday sometime, and it's about an eight hour drive from here.

Nice. That might work.

We'll see what's the best/cheapest option for us once we get closer to plane ticket purchasing time.

But definitely thanks for the offer!!!

Speaking of lineup announcement, anyone wanna do a Lineup Prediction Pool?

1st Place
Each loser has to buy the winner a drink (and/or fish taco) at some point during the weekend.

Last Place
You have to babysit Catherine during her annual festival tradition, 'I Can't Be Bothered to be Sober on Sunday' binge.

You're just trying to pawn off babysitting duty.

I cant explain why... but reading this sentence just got me really excited for Coachella. No way, not selling my ticket, not happening. It might be Coachella OR Sasquatch this year... and Coachella will be the weiner. Knowing me, I'll do Coachella, Sasquatch, and some other festival and end up homeless for another 3 months.

If I don't have a carpool buddy, I'll fly into PSP (cheap Alaskan flights from SFO to PSP) and then I'll need a friend from there.

As for lineup pool, I'm totally down. How about...15 names? 20? bonus for headliner designation?

As of right now Megatron and I will be flying into San Diego Wednesday at the latest, maybe a couple of days earlier to hang with JDawg depending on our schedule. We like to get to the festival when the campgrounds open Thursday morning and have in previous years spent the Wednesday night at this rad cheap little hotel in Palm Springs.
