And I'm looking into using my Airmiles for the rental car, so hopefully we'll just be splitting taxes and gas.

That can totally work. I wasn't planning on rushing out to Palm Springs right away as I'd probably be getting the rental right around rush hour, so waiting 'til you land would be perfect anyway.
Once I find out if my friend has her vacation approved, we can Dr. Garbanzoure out Wednesday night accommodations.

I am getting so fucking jacked for Nick Cave. I love the new album and I'm sure it's beautiful live. "Higgs-Boson Blues" is a fucking opus. A couple of you know I have an extra pass for weekend one, but I believe I am officially selling it now. I'll offer it to boarders and friends of boarders before I put it on Craigslist. I know pretty much all of you got tickets, so if someone was left behind, send me a PM.
