Seriously? I can think of tons of people who have a much stronger Canadian accent than I do, especially those from further East. The local accent here is sort of half Canadian and half mid-western US.

What's truly scary is if you were to run into me after I've been in Texas for a week - I have no idea why but I totally pick that accent up after only a few days.

Probably has something to do with the cowboy hat avatar. I picked up a very slight english accent at my cousins wedding.

I'll just say it: Fuckin accents, how do they work?

I thought Friendly had a more recognizable accent than J-Dawg. I said it before, but after spending so much time with FD, I caught myself matching his accent a couple times weeks later. Waking up Canadian has always been a nightmare of mine, so it was troublesome.

WHY THE FUCK ARE CANADIANS SO CONTAGIOUS!?!

"Eh" regularly finds it's way into my everyday speech and I am constantly (and deservedly) made fun of for it.

I know, and sometimes I think I should go watch hockey in person, then I think, "why would any American do this?"

It's just so damn useful! I doubt that even Canadians want to be saying it as often as we do, it just works in so many ways.

I never realized how much I say "eh" until I started hanging out with Americans regularly.

I have a really bad east coast accent when I get drunk, and I have a bunch of words that are just huge tip offs. Anything with a sharp a I really draw out, words like "car" or "bar" I turn into "caaar" or "baaar".
