I was reading Pitchbats earlier, and they state Animal Collective will be in the studio January recording their new album. That should mean an October release date, and an August leak.

I was just listening to Fall Be Kind today, and man is that an incredible set of songs. As always, I can't wait for a new album from AC.

Fall Be Kind doesn't get nearly enough credit. Same goes for Water Curses. I love their habit of releasing an album and then following it up with an equally cohesive EP of tangential material. Without fail it helps me understand and enjoy the proper albums more fully.

As much as I want to hate them, their debut album was catchy as eff. I'm definitely looking forward to a new album.

Yes! I fell in love with them after seeing them at sasquatch 2 years ago. I was just listening to them the other day and I was wondering when they were going to release some new material.

Why would you want to hate Miike Snow? Hipster.

Because they're a group of well-to-do pop producers that decided to start an "indie" band that wears masks on stage. Rubs me the wrong way. Won't keep me from listening to them though.

Well that sounds super intriguing. I've only heard the song with the video featuring the kid with the beard and the 2 live Crew finale. It was pretty awesome both in video and in song.

This Youtube goes out to you Know. Cuz I know you like youtubes in yer threads.

Anyone else not feeling the new single? It's definitely not as catchy as anything from the first album.
