Are you seriously getting butt hurt about this? I wasn't rude to you at any point. A couple things -
1. It is all well and good to have very strong, all be it seemingly unfounded opinions about a particular party/rave/concert/whatever.
2. It's less well and good to say that you would rather be a victim of violent crime than to attend said event. No you wouldn't, and it's both offensive and insensitive to ACTUAL victims of violent crime to say that you would.
3. If you have a strong opinion for a reason, which I assume that you do, how about providing some reasoning for your opinions instead of making several vague statements that really reveal nothing?
Now I see that you're "waving the white flag", so consider number 3 moot in this particular situation if you wish. That is all.

Yup, it makes it better to say that in a top 4 list of things you don't want to be subjected to, 2 of those things are violent crime, and 1 of them is a rave.

Yeah. No problem, as usual Pea misread my statement and you took his word for it. But what are best friends for?
I personally, am a survivor of violent crime and I did think about it and despite it being obvious hyperbole, I stated it was hasty and apologized and twice yet we are still discussing it.

I'd ask you to reveal what you think I misread, but I know you won't give me a straight answer.
And this has absolutely NOTHING to do with "best friends" or you getting ganged up on. You ran into this thread, made an obnoxious and vague proclamation, and then refused to explain yourself. I have no idea why you can't simply understand that.

And actually what I said was that you commonly misread my posts in both content and INTENTION that him being your best friend made him take your word for the content of my original post instead of reading it himself carefully. I never said I was ganged up on. Nor do I feel like I am. I'm having a great night utilizing my insomnia. Are we done or should we continue?

This bullshit is precisely the reason that I stay out of any interaction between the two of you.
Your comment was inappropriate, end of story. It has nothing to do with who likes who, or who's friends with who, and your implication that I'm taking his side or word for it straight up pisses me off. I'm a moderator here. I'm moderating.
If you have a problem with Freak Night, how about providing some real reasons for it instead of hiding behind some guise of being ganged up on? If you don't want to do that, how about staying out of the conversation in the first place?
