Car camping was great last year.
Tent camping looked brutal, it was further away from where car camping was and you had to park pretty far away and carry all your shit.

I would say tent camping. That way everyone can park and then move their stiff all to the same area. From what I have read it is way easier to camp together when you are doing tent camping. But it is also really annoying to have go haul all of your shit to your campsite.

and if I remeber correctly Lake Eldorado was right in the middle of all the car camping, you just get to camp with some shade and next to a lake.

for car camping in order to camp together you needed to arrive together, I don't know how it worked in tent camping.
But yes, I am a strong vote for car camping

When I went to Coachella in 2006, it was tent camping only. I kind of liked not having cars there, but it did mean you didn't have a place to lock your stuff, no way to charge cell phones, you had to haul all your beer, etc. It was beautiful, but yeah I think car camping is probably the way to go.
Now, are they charging car camping by the person or by the car?

Its by the car, you are allowed to squeeze as many people as you can into your campsite.
They outline the amount of space you're allowed and you do with that as you please

Car camping for sure, and it's one car per pass. You get a 10 x 30 spot, which is really only big enough for two tents and a car. If we can't all arrive together, it's not a big deal. We all hung out in regular camping last week without being camped right next to each other.

Pea did you hear what happened to me last year? I bought a ticket before the lineup came out, and then after the lineup came out they sent me an email saying my ticket was gone. The charged were still on my credit card though, so I couldn't by another one. I was on the phone all day with them and my bank, but by the time they got everything Dr. Garbanzoured out, tickets were gone.
