Or maybe it's just the "Way of the Bro".

I was at the Daft Punk set in 2006 at Coachella. First pyramid show and best concert of my life.
But I think they won't tour again until a real full length comes out.

Now your talking. They didn't allow RVs this year. I wouldn't count on it, but it can always change for 2012.

I'm not saying it's going to happen but I guarantee the bookers are waving a giant check in front of them. The rumor going around last year is that Daft was planning on something but it wasn't going to be ready this summer. It wouldn't shock me if whatever they're planning takes 9 months or longer to prepare and headline major festivals next year (possibly with a new album?)

I know I'm probably a little late here, but PAYMENT PLAN!? I'm getting my ticket tomorrow, or at least putting my down payment down. That's possibly the greatest thing ever.

It would be sweet if Sasquatch next year did this payment plan thing as well, but I doubt they will. $285 all at once is pretty rough

Uhhh dudes, second weekend is the weekend of 4/20. Did this not occur to any of you? Why would you want to do the first weekend?

The element of surprise far outweighs a holiday I could care less about. I'm guessing most people going would agree (about the element of surprise).

I'm doing first weekend because it's what my schedule will likely permit. I also like the idea of being at the first Coachella. It's the same impulse that forces me to attend the Harry Potter midnight screenings.

Absolutely my reasoning as well. I know I wouldn't be able to contain myself and not read all the reviews and such.
Plus, I'm not really a smoker.
