They didn't play Separator, must be saving it for me. Thom Yorke reads the Sasquatch board after all. You were high as fuck at that show and we all know it, dude.

and did anyone do Refused->Amon Tobin?

I must see the end of Refused and the beginning of Amon Tobin. My plan was to duck out of Refused a little early, but of course they're saving 'New Noise' for the end. Those 15 minutes or so have now become the worst festival conflict of my life.

I'm alive. Best weekend ever. Holy fuck.

I mean....Dre/Snoop/Em/50/Wiz/Warren G and effing Nate Dogg and effing 2PAC!! I mean. It was just. It was. Wow.

I'll write more when my brain starts working again.

Highlights: The ridiculous Dre party, MIIKE FUCKING SNOW HOLY SHIT, Usher coming out for Guetta, meeting Usher and laughing quietly to myself that I am about a foot taller than him, Rhianna coming out with Calvin Harris, SWEDISH HOUSE LAZERS, Zach De La Rocha out with DJ Shadow, The Sexy Weeknd and Rapture dance parties, Azealia Banks going fucking off during 212.

Lowlights: M83 was fucking terrible, Justice was about a half hour late, friday weather, getting stung by a bee in the port-o-pottie.

Great to meet everyone! I think I saw everyone except for Souly and J-Dawg. All the people I met for the first time were just swell. Also, big shout out to Kymess and her crew for partying with me and my friends all weekend. You guys were wicked.

Haha, dude. This was the worst thing I saw all weekend. I had no idea who they were and I was just wandering around so I walked up to the tent to check them out. It was...wow. My friend and I started laughing it was so bad.

Just curious, was it because you were outside the tent or something? I watched the live stream and it seemed great. I read that it was beyond packed and a clusterfuck outside but it sounded like it was a great show regardless.

nah dude, I camped out in that tent for M83. I was center stage about 10 people deep and they sounded terrible. I could stand there and have a conversation with my friends while they were playing. Made it until Midnight City and when that really sucked we bailed.

What made it even worse was The Rapture was right before them and they killed it. Sound was fantastic, amazeballs energy and a total party.

Fantastic weekend. Almost every act I saw was top notch and te ones that weren't sent me to some fantastic discoveries. Loved getting there when we did. Being so close to the entrance was fantastic. Had some great neighbors, one couple I can see being friends with for life. Weather was great for me. Friday night sleeping was th only time I was uncomfortable. It was nice meeting Souly. She's a sweetheart and made us hotdogs. Hanging out with Womp was fun until my vodka got sacrificed. Damn you beer gardens.....never again.

Snoop/Dre
Beirut
Rapture
Azealia Banks
Buzzcocks
Santigold
Grouplove
Wolf Gang
Gotye
Wild Flag

Those were my highlights for the weekend. I'll post more when I get back frI'm LA.

#sunchipschella.
That pretty much sums up my AMAZEBALLS weekend ;) (cringe, yo. That fucking word.)

But for reals. I had such a great time seeing everyone. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see some great people this weekend. The weekend went by super fast and cell phone service was a bitch at times. I'll be sure to post some piktas.

The campsite was phenom-nom-nomenal, the venue was gorgeous, the weather was fantastic. We camped it right. To our left were some underage pretty boys and on the other side of us was a group of people from south cali who offered up some help to andrew as well as to myself when I may or may not have had too much to drink on sunday. They also cooked up some delicious smelling foods. Best part of our campsite? Some people from Singapore left behind a BRAND new Swiss tent and offered it up to us. Looks like we're now officially set for Bonnaroo!! (SOOO--if ANYONE wants to camp with us and don't have a tent, WE HAVE YOU COVERED!)

Top 5 Acts:

-Florence + the Machine
-Dre, Snoop & company (HOLY SHIT, amirite?!)
-Pulp
-Kasabian
-St. Vincent - I particularly loved her badass stage dive toward the end.

Though I love their music, I was mildly disappointed after seeing:
-Gotye - I love how people bum rushed out of the venue after he played "THAT ONE SONG I KNOW" (Think, Pumped up Kicks, a la Foster the People at Sasquatch 2011)

-Justice - Though they were GREAT, I was bummed not being able to hear On'n'On--also, wtf--they went on waaaay late.

-M83 - Homeboy was clearly catering to the EDM fans and didn't play a lot of the adored songs, like as Andrew mentioned, no Kim and Jessie. People had a similar reaction to "Midnight City" like they did with Gotye and "Somebody that I Used to Know"--they all bested out of there afterward.

Miike Snow - Nothing against Miike Snow. Seriously. They had a great set and tons of energy. I just happend to be behind EVERY gigantic man, no matter where I moved to in the crowd. I couldn't see for shit. And it didn't help they didn't have the screen on for them--they just showed creepy images of a heart beating.

And I had a ton of fun on the final day and unfortunately missed several acts, including, but not limited to:
-Santigold
-Fanfarlo

Y'all are some great people. I am so glad we arranged a meet up. It made my weekend that much more fantastic. I heart you all.

Recovering poolside in Santa Monica right now from an absolutely AMAZING weekend...
It was so great meeting so many of you guys on Thursday night and then having Womp and his crew as our neighbors was nothing but fun times!! Sad I missed meeting a few of you guys (Souly where were you??) but now I can't wait to see you guys at Sasquatch.

Gonna keep this short since I'm writing from my phone.
Lowlights:
-the cold!!! I have never been so cold in my life, especially Friday, and never so focused on finding a sleeping bag to cuddle into.
- mssing Azealia Banks by 1 minute. WTF was that, only a 20 minute set?

Highlights:
- DRE & SNOOP!! The stage set-up, the surprise guests and holograms! What a freakin party that was!! Who knew I liked rap so much?
- St. Vincent, The Rapture, Miike Snow, Florence and Santigold. They all blew me away.
- the Do Lab. Soooooo much fun dancing in there. Especially during Lucent Dossier and Amon Tobin's deep deep bass.

Ok, poolside mimosas are calling me. Can't wait til next month when I get to do this all over again.
