Hate to say it, but his lyrics don't hold a candle to half of the death metal bands I used to dig back in the day. Can't say I'm proud of that, but it is what it is.

Really I find tyler's lyrics much less offensive than some of eminem's early stuff. 97 Bonnie and Clyde has eminem narrating a story to his young daughter in great detail about the murder of his wife. In comparison, Tyler and Earl say outrageous shit with absolutely no context in reality. It's just a bunch of teenagers trying to one up each other.

You SURE about that? I mean I can see them possibly exceeding, but I would hope that those lyrics do at least hold a cancel, in, you know, the parlance of our times.
