Wow. We should have determined an awesomeness limit. This package makes the rest of us look like slackers.

I agree with Switch, this sure puts the rest of us to shame, nice work!

Also, now I wan't some dill pickle chips!

Also Cat if you don't mind, could you post a closer photo of the art work. Looks really cool. Which reminds me, I need to find a camera to post the artwork I received from Fox.

It certainly was sweet. Made me feel special, for sure.

You got it, Rusty Trombone! I'll try to remember to post a pic of the artwork when I get home from work this evening. Deal? :)

Hmmm. How very interestingggg. Because I got a particularily thoughtful surprise in the mail yesterday in which I was able to pick up from my apartment's front office this morning.

Not onlyyy does the playlist look awesome (including an artist I've never before mentioned a love for on the boards--this person must've just read my style by including a Frou Frou song), but I got some exciting Canadian goodies to try. I am so happy to have recieved such a personalized, thought-out package.

Thanks to whoever you are...which I'm pretty sure I know who you are...so thanx ;)

I don't know what you're insinuating. I sent Canadian goodies to my person, but it was half a Tim Hortons sandwich, a lock of Brian Adams' hair and a life sized replica of Gordon Lightfoot's moustache.

Ps I just saw that I spelled Catsquatch wrong. Stupid postal lady was rushing me.

So how did you like it? I'll put up a grooveshark link of the mix when get back to Calgary.

HA! Well, I hope your recipient enjoys their half devoured sandwich and facial hair. ;)

I didn't even notice the Catsquatch misprint. No worries!

I am really enjoying the mix. I haven't listened to all of the songs yet--I've been playing it on my way to work and the commute isn't too long. I plan to get through it by the middle of the week, but I certainly think you did a good job of capturing things I'd enjoy. Your research paid off!

And you mentioned being 'intimidated' (if that's the correct word) by the responsibility of giving music to the radio DJ girl, but there was no need. There is always plenty of new music to be discovered. :)

I'm looking forward to giving it a proper review, but I do want to thank you again for making it so special. I made Cinnamon pancakes this weekend and they were complimented very well by my pure, Canadian syrup :)

PS--hope you enjoyed your weekend at the fest!

I got mine too.

I am loving it! Not really the type of chunes I usually have on. But a few selected tracks, with possible careful sequencing, makes all the difference. Thanks to my person!

My package was waiting for me at home. I received not one, but two CDs! Someone has a brother in a band and I got their CD. Haven't had time to listen to either yet, but the cover art rules.

Pics and reviews to come

The only difference from her mix is track #12 which is a live version that I didn't have that sounds better.

For Shizzo! Sorry, I should've mentioned that I was planning on doing so once I had a good few listens to the mix. I've probably heard it 3 times front to back now, so possibly if I have time at work I will post up a review. There wasn't any picture art (which is cool, as this is about the music at the end of the day). I will post the track list soon.
