I know there's lots of renditions of this song, including the wonderful Jeff Buckley version. However if you were able to watch this live, it was pretty special at the time.

This is the Tiger Lillies doing "Send in the Clowns". In 2001 I went to see a production by the modern dance/multi media group Holy Body Tattoo (if they ever are in your area CHECK THEM OUT! though touring is rare) doing a production called "Circa". It blew my young mind into tiny little pieces. The soundtrack is made up of Tiger Lillies songs and stuff they wrote for the production, I still vividly remember every moment of the evening both for the show and my introduction to the Tiger Lillies who eventually sent me down a yet unchartered journey toward more absurd yet moving musical discoveries. This song on its own is for you to judge, but with the visuals and dance that I saw accompany it I find it nothing short of beautiful. What a stupid image on the Youtube thing, here's what they look like.

the best part of this video is how it's all backwards and everybody is left-handed

Atrocious quality, but the only version I could find. While I hate pretty much everything Jimmy Fallon does, his Neil Young impersonation is spot on.

The cover of Whip My Hair with Springsteen is hilarious.
