I always loved that song and this is an awesome cover of it.

There's some great covers on that Hello Radio tribute. There's also some really, really bad ones. Self's cover of 'Ana Ng' is totally rad, and so is Steve Burns' 'Dead'.

What version of Road Movie has that last verse on it? I recall the album version skipping it and I fucking love the lines, "You said you were the king of liars/I believed you and now call you 'sire'/Now I realize that I have been deceived"

Theres just something beautiful about those lines together that manages to paint a picture of some sort of dysfunctional relationship

There is no TMBG version of the song that has that verse in it. Those lyrics come from the lyric sheet printed on the sleeve of physical copies of Flood.

I love it very much too; I never could guess why they cut it from the song.

I mean, really, one of your favorite bands covered a song from a David Lynch movie and it wasn't the first thing you posted.

I was really worried about how this would sound because Trent's stuff with his wife has been really hit or miss with me. I really like it and thought Karen O was a hell of a choice.
