You can now preorder the new album, which will be released on March 1. If you preorder, a download code will be emailed to you on Feb 15th when your order ships.

I cannot wait. Ordered the LP.

And the video for the lead single, Stamp, is currently streaming at: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/rural-alberta-advantage-stomp-20110120 <--Trust me it's Stamp, not Stomp.

Is anybody as excited about all of this as I am? If they happen to be added to the Sasquatch lineup (which I'm quite sure they will be), I'll be the annoying superfan front and center.

I fell in love with them early last year. I love the drumming, I love the simplicity of the music, and I love that guys voice. You are not alone, they rule pretty hard. The only thing I don't like is saying their full name fast more then once in a row. I prefer the RAA.

as do I.

If you're a fan of the drumming, you're going to shit your pants with glee when you hear the new record. From what I've heard at live shows and in youtube vids shot of live shows, Paul has really taken it up a notch on this one.

not yet, but I saw them once last year and they played a few of the songs, plus they've released at least 2 of them online, and there are youtube vids of almost all the rest.

I posted a couple awesome vids of the drummer yesterday in the music recommendations thread. I first heard these guys after the Coachella lineup came out and I have since fallen head over heels in love with them haha.

As much as I love their album "Hometowns," this new song completely blows everything on that record out of the water. God damn I'm excited to hear the rest.
